It was a few days ago, a Delhi-based entrepreneur, Gauri Varma pitched her confectionary brand, Confect, to the panel of sharks and secured a deal with Namita Thapar, with the latter’s investment of Rs. 1 crore for 2 percent equity and 2 percent royalty. Well, it was Anupam Mittal, who questioned Gauri, when she said that she has a habit of restlessness, and each year, she just has to learn a new thing. Anupam said that is the point that he was uneasy about betting on her. Anupam also pointed out that Gauri moved to the US market by leaving behind her business in India.
