She revealed how spirituality became a cornerstone of her strength and identity. During the conversation, the actress shared how faith was not a part of her family inheritance but a personal discovery. Shruti added that her faith in the higher power was what made her resilient. She further added that her family doesn’t believe in God, and despite her mother, Sarika Thakur, being a spiritual person, her dad was an atheist. She was quoted saying:
“My faith in God. My home is more of an atheist home. My mum is spiritual, but my dad is never. So we never had the concept of God while growing up, I discovered it myself. I very much believe in the power of God, and that power of God has taken me through many things in my life.”
