Sonu Sood Reveals Why He Said No To Play a Part in Dabangg 2

Actor Sonu Sood recently shared that he declined the role of Chhedi Singh’s brother in Dabangg 2, despite Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan offering it to him. Sonu had previously played the iconic antagonist, Chhedi Singh, in the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg. In a conversation with Humans of Bombay, Sonu revealed that he turned down the role because he found it uninteresting, explaining, “I’m not feeling excited about this role, so how can I do it?”

Sonu emphasized the importance of saying “no” when something doesn’t feel right. He shared that Salman and Arbaaz, whom he considers family, were very understanding of his decision and responded, “It’s okay, no issues.” Despite not being part of the sequel, Sonu attended the Dabangg 2 premiere at Salman’s invitation. While both Dabangg and Dabangg 2 were box office successes, Dabangg 3 struggled to replicate the same performance.
