Manav Shamra, an Agra-based techie working with TCS, dramatically ended his life. He alleged that he found his wife sleeping with another man and that the authorities do not listen to men when it comes to their rights. He recorded his last six minutes before he died in a video, which has been going viral since morning. After which, his wife, Nikita Sharma, came forward and shared her side of the story and how she informed her in-laws about Manav’s plan of suicide, but no one listened to her.

In the video, wherein Nikita shared her side of the story, she also revealed how her in-laws treated her. She said that she went to her in-laws’ place when Manav’s dead body had arrived. After the funeral, they told her to go home. Later, when she came back after two-three days, they refused to give her entry. She said:
“Mai unke ghar pe gayi thi jis din Manav ki dead body aayi, sab kuch hone ke baad mai hospital gayi, unke ghar pe gayi. Jab unki dead body chali gayi, uske baad unhone mujhe bol diya, ‘Tum ghar par jao.’ Uske dusre-teesre din baad unhone hum logo ko ghar mein ghusne hi nahi diya, bol diya, ‘Tu jaa yaha se tune mera beta kha liya.’ Sari ulti seedhi harkate kari, or jis din mai unke ghar pe gayi thi, unhone mereko dhakke maar ke ander bhagaya mujhe, uski didi ne.”
