The visuals show an intense shootout sequence set in Lyari, Pakistan, which instantly caught the internet’s attention, with many users pointing out its resemblance to a real-life incident that had once claimed several lives.

One of the clips shared on Reddit shows Sanjay Dutt in character as SP Chaudhary Aslam, also known as The Jinn, dressed in a white jubba. He is seen standing in the middle of a street, firing shots, while extras dressed as policemen take part in the scene. As the sequence unfolds, the actor walks away calmly, with another moment capturing him lighting a cigarette between takes.

Another video from the same set shows the aftermath of the shootout, with cars and bikes set ablaze, suggesting an explosion. An ambulance is seen moving through the chaos as Sanjay approaches it while smoking, before a member of the crew calls out “cut.” Reddit users quickly reacted, with some claiming the scene mirrors a well-known real-life Lyari encounter and speculating that it recreates a key face-off from the story.
One Redditor also shared an old YouTube clip from 2012, calling it a “reel vs real” comparison. The original footage, filmed by a Pakistani reporter, shows a deadly gunfight between police and a gang, reportedly leaving seven people dead and over 20 injured. The reporter mentioned that the violence erupted after the killing of an activist, leading to heavy firing, grenades, and rockets being used.
Dhurandhar: The Revenge is set to hit theatres on March 19 and stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi among others.
