Parineeti Chopra recently sat for a conversation with Mashable Middle East, where she shared about how her parents gave her a lovely mindset, which helped her adjust to every surrounding. The actress revealed that she grew up with very little, and her parents were struggling. She revealed that even on her birthday, they would bring her a piece of rasgulla or rasmalai, which she would cut as a birthday cake because her parents could not afford a real cake. She stated:
“I have seen struggle of my parents where they used to not have money for a birthday cake for me and my dad used to go to the market and buy one piece of rasgulla, just a piece not a kilo, one piece of rasgulla or rasmalai and we used to cut that rasmalai like a birthday cake.”
