The comedian’s recent stand-up has landed him in big trouble, leading to an open row between Kunal Kamra and Shiv Sena. For the uninitiated, the comedian’s controversial stand-up gig was performed at Mumbai’s famous comedy club, The Habitat Studio. As soon as the video was uploaded on YouTube, it created a stir on the internet. Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde’s supporter, Murji Patel of Shiv Sena Party, filed an FIR against the comedian.

Apart from the BMC officials, some workers of the Shiv Sena Party went to the Unicontinental Hotel in the Khar area and demolished it. As per the latest updates, Mumbai police have summoned Kunal Kamra over his controversial comments on the state’s current CM, Eknath Shinde.
