Baby John featuring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi and more, was released on Christmas Day. While the film presented by Atlee was mounted as a massy holiday entertainer, the box office reports are rather lukewarm.
As per reports on Sacnilk.com, Baby John collected an estimated Rs 12.5 crore on Day 1. The film did not manage to trump Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule at the box office.
Meanwhile, the film garnered Rs 19.75 crore on Day 21 since its release.
Reports indicate that Pushpa 2 along with Mufasa are taking quite a chunk out of Baby John’s box office collections.
In Baby John directed by Kalees, Varun Dhawan plays a DCP who goes to great lengths to protect his family. The high-octane action-thriller comes right after his OTT release Citadel: Honey Bunny.
