Salman Khan Calls Out Insecurity Among Actors Talks About Past Collaborations

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is gearing up for his highly anticipated film, Sikandar. During a recent media interaction while promoting the film, Salman shared his thoughts on the growing insecurity among today’s actors.

Recalling his own experience, he revealed, “I approached several actors for a film where everyone had an equal role. I told them that if the film became a hit, I would acknowledge that I had approached them. But they all refused to work with each other. Some said they didn’t understand the genre, others had different excuses. The truth is, they just didn’t want to collaborate. Today’s actors are so insecure.”

He contrasted this with the camaraderie of his own era, saying, “I worked with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, and Rahul Roy — and not just once, but in multiple films. Back then, we believed that uniting our fan bases would only strengthen the box office. We built friendships, worked together, and spent 200-300 days shooting side by side. We even made guest appearances for each other.”
