Raghav Chadha, a starry name in Indian politics, was known for discussing issues which no other Rajya Sabha member was interested in. From talking about paternity leave to menstrual health, Raghav left no opportunity to discuss the less acknowledged topics. He was praised for his way of working. However, not many know that Raghav’s journey into politics was driven by courage and not fame.
Why Raghav Chadha left the Aam Aadmi Party for the BJP after he was kicked out as the Rajya Sabha’s deputy leader?
Raghav Chadha had an open rift with the Aam Aadmi Party as he was fired from his role as the Rajya Sabha’s deputy leader. He left the party on April 24, 2026. Not just he, but six other Rajya MPs also signed their resignations to join the BJP. Raghav Chadha, who was once hailed as the youngest Rajya Sabha member, has been going through the lowest phase. It all started after the Aam Aadmi Party removed him as its deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha. A post he has been on since 2023. As per reports, he has been replaced by Punjab’s MP Ashok Mittal.
