Hansika Motwani moves to the Bombay High Court to quash the criminal case filed by her sister-in-law
Hansika Motwani moved to the Bombay High Court on April 3, 2025, to quash the criminal case. In her petition submitted in the court, Hansika claimed that Muskan filed an FIR against the family as a ‘retaliatory measure’. Her advocate, Drishti Khurana, claimed that Hansika had asked Muskan to repay the Rs. 27 lakh he had lent to her and her husband, Prashant, for their wedding. They also dismissed the allegation of physical assault and verbal abuse by stating that it lacked evidence. The advocate said in the petition:
“The FIR appears to be a retaliatory measure aimed at pressuring Motwani and her family into a financial settlement in the ongoing matrimonial dispute.”
