According to a report by the Times Of India, Prabhu Deva had many conditions for Nayanthara before he could take the plunge and marry her. She had agreed to convert to Hinduism and also accept his kids from his first marriage which would always be his priority. He also wanted Nayanthara to quit acting post getting married. Despite having many discussions, she refused to give up on her career as she was at her peak, which reportedly increased the tensions between the duo.
