After a hiatus of two years, Akhil Akkineni is back to films. The actor has announced his new film titled Lenin, and producers Nagarjuna and Naga Vamsi unveiled the title glimpse of the action entertainer. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, who made his debut with Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, Lennin promises an intense, action-packed experience set against a rural Rayalaseema backdrop. The makers of the film released the glimpse which opens with powerful visuals, infused with imagery of divine elements. It offers a sneak peek into the gritty and captivating world of Lenin. Annapurna Studios and Sithara Entertainments are bankrolling the film.

Akhil’s screen presence is striking as he steps into a stunning and fierce role in Lenin. The actor exudes a powerful, rugged presence with his thick moustache and long hair complementing his macho avatar. The title glimpse also reveals Sreeleela as the female lead alongside Akhil – something the audiences are looking forward. The teaser is filled with action moments with Akhil’s one-liner truly packing a punch. The philosophical yet powerful dialogue in Rayalaseema slang, “Puttetappudu Oopiri Vuntadhi ra, Peru Vundadu. Poyetappudu Oopiri Vundadu, Peru matrame vuntadhi,” instantly resonated with the film buffs. It gives the required panache that hints at an emotionally charged action entertainer.
Akhil aced the Rayalaseema slang – his diction and voice modulation shows a lot of promise. The film carries the tagline, “No war is more violent than love,” suggesting Lenin will explore themes of love and conflict with raw emotion. Cinematographer Naveen Kumar’s visuals are gritty and intense while Thaman elevates the narrative with his electrifying score.
