According to the latest reports, Disney Plus is planning a new version of the hit franchise, Power Rangers and the creative team of the global streaming platform has shortlisted Priyanka to play the vicious character, ‘Rita Repulsa’. For the unversed, ‘Rita’ is a primary antagonist of the franchise and plays an important role in the series. After knowing that Priyanka, who is known for her bold and unique character choices, will be allegedly part of Disney’s Power Rangers series, fans are left in a frenzy. A Disney insider was quoted as saying:
