Mahesh Babu recently took to social media to share an interesting story for his Varanasi co-star Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The actor praised her performance as he shared the trailer of her new movie The Bluff.
Taking to social media, Mahesh Babu wrote, “Loved the trailer… @priyankachopra is uncompromising and formidable yet again. Wishing the entire team of #TheBluff the very best for Feb 25th...” He ended the note with three hug emoticons. The two were previously seen promoting the upcoming SS Rajamouli directorial in Hyderabad during its title launch. Previously called SSMB29, the project has now been named Varanasi.
Priyanka had attended the event in a white traditional ensemble. Taking the stage, she had praised Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, while receiving praises from them. Addressing the audience, she had said, “Thank you for welcoming me. You know who I am going to talk about, right? What do you call him Bob or Lion? There are many other names, but I know him as MB. I know him as the incredible, legendary Mahesh Babu.”
Priyanka had further added, “Thank you and your beautiful family, Namrata and Sitara have made me feel like Hyderabad is my home. So thank you so much for treating me like your family and making this experience so wonderful for me.”
Priyanka had also noted that her daughter Malti Marie had a wonderful time while she was shooting for Varanasi. Sharing further, she stated that Malti spent some quality time with Mahesh Babu’s daughter Sitara.
In Varanasi, Mahesh Babu portrays Rudhra, whereas Priyanka Chopra will be seen opposite him as Mandakini and Prithiviraj Sukumaran steps in the shoes of the main antagonist as Kumbha. The other details about the movie have been kept under the wraps.
