Popular Bollywood actress, Neena Gupta, who is currently enjoying the success of Vadh 2, recently opened up about the struggles of raising her daughter, Masaba alone. For the unversed, Neena welcomed Masaba with cricket legend, Vivian Richards, out of wedlock. However, Neena raised Masaba as a single mother as Vivian was never available for them. It is worth mentioning that Masaba is now married to Satyadeep Mishra and they share a child.
Neena Gupta shares the struggles of raising Masaba alone
Recently, Neena Gupta had a candid and honest conversation with Times Now, during which she shared her struggles of raising her daughter, Masaba alone, without any support. Recalling her tough phase, Neena Gupta shared that when Masaba was young, she had to think about her a lot. Neena mentioned that even for a film shoot, she had to think about who would take care of Masaba. Neena Gupta was quoted as saying:
“It takes a lot of courage and you have to face a lot of problems. For example, to raise a child alone.. I am an actor, so I have to work physically. (I have to think about) where will I keep the child? Who will I hand over the child to? I didn’t even get time to go to the parlour. It is a very tough decision to take.”
