According to reports, Nancy was last seen on January 31, 2026, and was reported missing when she did not show up for church the next day. At the time, investigators claimed that she was most likely kidnapped in her sleep. Since time is of the utmost importance in Nancy Guthrie’s missing case, many resources are being used to find her and bring her home safely. Amid this, US President, Donald Trump recently implied that the FBI or the Justice Department “could have some answers coming up very soon.”

It was just earlier this week that President Trump announced that he would be “deploying all resources” to find Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today anchor, Savannah Guthrie. This announcement came in the form of a post on Trump’s social media app, Truth Social. Now, on Air Force One, Friday night, Trump confessed that the investigators have already made significant progress on the case while speaking with the reporters present there. While acknowledging that a lot of things have happened in the past few hours regarding Savannah’s mom’s case, he said:
“We have some things, I think that will maybe come out reasonably soon, from DOJ or FBI, or whoever, that could be, could be definitive. A lot has taken place in the last couple of hours. A lot of things have happened with regard to that horrible situation in the last couple of hours.”
