He criticized the historical figure Taimur (also known as Timur) for his brutal invasion of India in the 14th century. “The man who came to India and committed atrocities against our women and children, that same name is being used for a beautiful, innocent child,” Vishwas said, referring to the historical Taimur. “When this child grows up and potentially becomes an actor, will he be allowed to play villains on screen? Remember, India is waking up, and this is a new India,” he added.
