Kim Sae Ron sadly passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 24. She was found dead at her home in Seoul and her death was ruled as an apparent s****de. One of her unreleased projects, Everyday We Are, is now releasing, a year after her death. The makers have announced their plans of releasing the movie on March 4, 2026. A press event was held on the same, where director Kim Min Jae and cast members Lee Chae Min, Choi Yu Ju and Ryoo Ui Hyun discussed the release. The film is being said to be Sae Ron’s last project.

A report by the Korean publication Chosun Biz states that the makers and actors spoke highly about Sae Ron at the press event. Director Kim Min Jae noted that she was the best actor he had worked with. Lee Chae Min, who is making his film debut with Everyday We Are, opened up about Sae Ron’s seniority in the industry. He shared how despite being of the same age, she led him well throughout the filming. He thanked her for guiding him and teaching his details about acting.
Choi Yu Ju noted that Sae Ron was easy to work with. The late actress would apparently also make things cheerful on set. She also helped her colleagues to settle in. Ryoo Ui Hyun agreed and quipped that Sae Ron was someone everyone could learn from.
The film centres on Yeo Ul (Kim Sae Ron), whose life takes an unexpected turn when her close friend Ho Soo (Lee Chae Min) confesses his feelings for her. As they navigate the emotional aftermath, the story unfolds into a tender coming-of-age romance about friendship, love and self-discovery. This film has been adapted from a webtoon of the same name.
