Popular TV actress, Dipika Kakar is going through the hardest phase of her life. After battling stage 2 liver tumour last year, the Sasural Simar Ka actress recently went through a surgery to remove a 13-mm cyst. For the unversed, her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, a few days ago, had informed fans about the cyst. Reportedly, Dipika underwent the surgery on February 23, 2026. Now that she is back home, the actress gave an update about her health.

Recently, Dipika Kakar and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim shared a YouTube video, in which the actress opened up about the entire surgery. She revealed that the operation went well and she has returned home. She explained that even though the doctor had asked her to be mentally prepared, she took some time to understand the process. Dipika Kakar was quoted as saying:
“The process went well, but last night we returned home. The entire procedure went smoothly. People prepare you that it might recur, but when it actually happens, the way it feels—it takes time to deal with it. It took me some time too. And it was so sudden because we found out and the doctor said, ‘Let’s get admitted on Monday.’ Plus, in between, it was our anniversary.”
