The plotline of Accused
The film opens in London, with ‘Dr. Geetika’ (played by Konkona Sen Sharma), who is a respected and successful gynaecologist. She is known for her discipline, efficiency and leadership. ‘Geetika’ is all set to become the Dean of the hospital. In her personal life, she lives with her fiancee, ‘Dr. Meera’ (played by Pratibha Ranta) and the two are planning to adopt a child. Everything seems normal and stable, until ‘Geetika’ is called into the HR office.
