
In a tragic piece of news, it has been revealed that Christopher North, ’70s rockstar and one of the founding members of the band, Ambrosia, has died. According to reports, he was 75 years old when he breathed his last. The news of his passing has sent a wave of grief among Ambrosia fans.
Christopher North’s early life
Christopher North, also known as Christopher Reed North, was born in San Francisco on January 26, 1951, and raised in San Pedro, California. He had a knack for music from a young age, which led him to play in multiple bands throughout his junior high and high school years. Some of the bands that he played with at the time were The Proones, Thee Exceptions, and The Livin End. In 1968, he went on to form his own psychedelic rock band called Blue Toad Flax, alongside Tom Trefethen. Here, Christopher was in charge of playing the organ and the lead vocals.
