American rapper, Gucci Mane (real name Radric Davis) has recently been the victim of a violent targeted attack. According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), he was kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint at a recording studio in Dallas, Texas on January 10, 2026. On April 2, 2026, nine suspects, including Pooh Shiesty, his father and Big30 were indicted of having carried out a coordinated “armed takeover” of a Dallas studio. Pooh Shiesty (Lontrell Williams) and his father, Big30 (Rodney Wright Jr.) are currently behind bars.
As for how the robbing was carried out, Gucci Mane, 46, was reportedly separated from others and forced at gunpoint to sign some paperwork for releasing rapper, Pooh Shiesty, from his contract with 1017 Records. Other victims in the studio were reportedly choked and robbed of high-value items, including Rolex watches, Louis Vuitton bags, and jewellery.
