AA22 x A6 has got a title more than a year since it was announced. Director Atlee of SRK’s Jawan is calling it Raaka. The multi-lingual release will come out in theatres in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Arabic.
Raaka plot…beyond traditional tropes
Earlier, the makers of the Allu Arjun-starrer have asked the audience to “prepare yourself for a vision beyond limits.” They may be hinting at a plot that moves beyond traditional tropes, perhaps involving time travel, multiverse theories, or high-concept sci-fi. The title was successfully hidden from the media till the last minute. And when the poster was out, everyone experienced the intended surprise. Raaka co-stars Deepika Padukone, the only actress whose name has been revealed officially. When her first look poster gets released in the near future, we will get to know if she is playing a menacing role like her male counterpart. For all we know, the Allu Arjun-Deepika duo will be delivering the knockout punch.
A man of transformations
Allu Arjun has built a reputation for bold transformations. He does not settle for safe looks anymore, and his journey shows a clear shift. Earlier, the actor played more conventional roles. Over time, he chose distinct characters, such as the ones in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Pushpa, and now Raaka. Each role now has a unique identity. His look in Pushpa stood out. The rugged styling became quite popular. In Pushpa 2, he took it further. The Gangamma Jathara look surprised everyone. It was intense and rooted in local culture. It showed his willingness to experiment. He embraces physical changes for roles, and is ever-ready to focus on detailing and authenticity. His characters now carry strong traits, as they reflect specific backgrounds and emotions. This evolution sets him apart in concrete ways. Known earlier for regular commercial hits, his choices now feel deliberate, novel and fresh. With Raaka, expectations are even higher.
