After Exit From ENHYPEN Heeseung Launches Solo Era As Evan

Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung has signalled the start of his solo journey by launching new official social media channels and unveiling his first profile images under the name Evan. The newly released visuals present Evan in his most authentic form. With minimalist makeup and effortless styling, the portraits strip away embellishment to reveal a raw, understated charisma. His label BELIFT LAB described these images as “capturing the purest form of Evan, an artist at the very beginning of his identity, before any external definition is applied.”

Since his debut in 2020 as Heeseung of ENHYPEN, he has been recognised for his exceptional vocal tone and range as well as his commanding stage presence. Beyond performing, he has showcased remarkable talent as a singer-songwriter and producer, having written and produced tracks such as Highway 1009 and Dial Tragedy, both recognised for their musical depth and artistry.

The name Evan reflects both his artistic identity and personal narrative.

Talking about the same, he said, “Evan is a name I’ve cherished since childhood, one that holds many of my most precious memories. Through this name, I hope to reach fans with music that fully expresses my most honest and natural self.”

Meanwhile, Heeseung’s label announced in March 2026 that he is no longer a part of K-Pop boy group ENHYPEN. A statement from the label read, “Through in-depth discussions with each of the members about the future they envision and the direction of the team, it became clear that Heeseung has his own distinct musical vision and we have decided to respect it. As such, Heeseung will be parting ways with Enhypen.”

The statement also stated, “ENHYPEN remains committed to sharing energetic performances with ENGENE. HEESEUNG will be preparing a solo album as an artist under BELIFT LAB. We ask for ENGENE’s continued love and support for ENHYPEN and HEESEUNG as they start a new chapter of their journey.”
