Lee Cronin’s The Mummy has arrived in theatres on April 17, 2026. It is a new take on a concept that originally started back in 1932. While the basic premise of those films focused on a group of people aiming to stop a mummified being from unleashing its terror on the whole world, Lee Cronin has added more supernatural and horror elements in his version. Natalie Grace plays the lead role along with Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, and many others.
Following the success of Evil Dead Rise in 2023, expectations for The Mummy have been sky-high. The initial glimpses hinted at a similar experience. The main storyline focuses on a family that loses one of its members in the desert. Eight years later, the lost member is found.
