Her representatives confirmed the news of her hospitalization without divulging into the specifics of her health condition yet. The news comes after the 54-year-old actress shared a raw, unfiltered glimpse into her life with multiple health conditions, especially her painful battle with Multiple Sclerosis, in her newly released memoir.
While it is not certain whether MS was the reason behind her hospitalization, Applegate’s representative told Page Six that she has had a “long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly open about, as evidenced in her memoir and on her podcast.”
