It isn’t every day that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences spotlights Bollywood. So, when it turned its gaze to one of the biggest superstars of the industry, the internet couldn’t keep calm. The Academy’s official social media page shared a clip from Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om, featuring the iconic ‘Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai…’ monologue.
The scene captures SRK’s character Om, delivering a speech at an in-film Filmfare Awards ceremony, one that has long outgrown the movie to become part of pop culture memory. Sharing the clip, the Academy captioned it: “One thing about destiny… it doesn’t miss.
