Nancy Guthrie has been missing for more than 80 days, and her continued disappearance has raised multiple questions. Investigators believe that the 84-year-old was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona. Despite extensive searches by authorities, no official suspects have been identified in the case. However, some new insights from a former FBI profiler suggest that the person involved in the crime might not have committed a “perfect crime”. Instead, experts now believe that the suspect’s mistakes could likely lead them to solve the case.
Ex-FBI profiler believes suspect’s mistakes would get him caught
Former FBI profiler Jim Clemente sat down for a conversation on NewsNation and shared his take on people’s mindset behind Nancy’s disappearance. According to Jim, the kidnapper or culprit is likely following every update in the case. The person might be constantly questioning whether any evidence could get him caught or reveal his connection to the case. In his words:
“He (suspect) might be thinking, ‘What is going through his mind is likely, ‘Did I actually get away with this? Was I able to permanently conceal her body? And will there be any way that they won’t be able to tie it to me?”
