Another feather in the cap for Payal Kapadia! Her film All We Imagine As Light has received a nod at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards 2025. It has been nominated in the Best Film Not In the English Language category.
Payal Kapadia’s film will now be competing with films such as Emilia Perez, I am Still Here, Kneecap and The Seed of the Sacred Fig.
Besides All We Imagine as Light, other Indian films were nominated at the BAFTA 2025. Sandhya Suri’s Santosh and Karan Kandhari’s Sister Midnight were nominated in the Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer category. Dev Patel was also nominated in this category for directing Monkey Man.
