The Crash has been making headlines ever since its release on Netflix. The documentary featured several interviews, and many of them have since received intense backlash for the same. For the unversed, The Crash follows the Ohio 2022 crash that led to the death of Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. It even led to the suspension of Mackenzie Shirilla’s father, Steve Shirilla, from his job as a teacher. The former’s close friend, Rosie Graham, also faced the head and had to issue a statement on her TikTok after receiving backlash for her interview in the doc.
For the unversed, Rosie and Bubba Turner both speak in the documentary, representing the “friendship group” which was supposedly made up of the duo along with Davion, Mackenzie, and Dominic. The pair claimed that their group was the ‘best friendship group I’ve had in my life’, but Dominic’s older sister, Christine, seemed to disagree. She slammed Bubba and Rosie, claiming that the pair were only ‘acquaintances,’ to Dom and Mackenzie’s friends instead.
