
The spotlight surrounding Ohio criminal, Mackenzie Shirilla, isn’t about to die down anytime soon. This is because her case, where she killed her boyfriend, Dominic Russo and their friend, Davion Flanagan, by intentionally slamming her car into a brick building in 2022, has been gaining renewed attention since the release of The Crash on Netflix. While Mackenzie and her parents have consistently maintained that the crash was an accident, the court has already convicted her of the crime. Amid this, an undated jail call between Mackenzie and her mom has surfaced, where she says that the thought of the car crash makes her want to vomit.

Recently, TMZ got their hands on an undated jail phone call between the subject of Netflix’s The Crash, Mackenzie Shirilla and her mother, Natalie. The phone call between the duo is not only graphic but also emotional as she recalls the car crash which landed her in prison. In the call, Mackenzie can be heard saying that she still struggles to process how only she ended up surviving the crash while her boyfriend, Dominic Russo, 20, and their friend, Davion Flanagan, 19, lost their lives. Wondering about the same, she remarks:
