It all started after fans noticed that his wife, Avantika Bhatt, wasn’t part of his daily vlogs. Later, Sourav stated that Avantika is not here for a reason, as something has happened, and he will let his fans know the reason why she left.

On June 7, 2026, Sourav took to his YouTube channel and shared another vlog. He started the video by revealing that he was going to his wife Avantika’s home to pick her up. Later, in the vlog, he revealed the real reason why Avantika wasn’t there. He pointed out how people started questioning Avantika’s absence and wondered if their marriage had hit a rough patch. Many believed that Sourav and Avantika were heading for their divorce after Avantika’s continuous absence. When his youngest cousin, Kunali, asked him about Avantika’s absence, he replied that it was due to kala mahina.
