The short clip gave a glimpse of Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol’s characters, while keeping the other characters under wraps.
The teaser opens on a seemingly warm note, with Bobby’s character celebrating his daughter Alia’s 18th birthday. As part of the occasion, he hands her a card containing a location and asks her to go there. When Alia asks what she is expected to do, Bobby tells her to do what he has been training her for all these years. As the music takes a darker turn, he reveals that on her 18th birthday, she is being sent on her very first mission.

The teaser then shifts into a series of intense montages, showing Bobby’s character training a young Alia from childhood. The scenes quickly transition to present-day Alia, now a skilled assassin, taking down opponents in high-octane action sequences.
Throughout the teaser, Bobby’s voiceover plays a key role in establishing the film’s tone. He says that there are only two kinds of people in the world – sheep and wolves. In another scene, Alia declares that a wolf’s daughter will always be a wolf.
Another scene in the teaser shows Bobby tattooing a mysterious symbol onto young Alia’s arm. When she asks him what it means, he simply replies, “Alpha.” It is then revealed that Alpha is a secret programme designed to create a new generation of soldiers in India. The teaser concludes on a chilling note. Bobby wishes Alia a happy birthday, following which she shoots a man.
Alpha is set for release in theatres on July 3.
