On Wednesday evening, Mumbai hosted a special event to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation (STF), which aims to uplift underprivileged communities in India through health, education, and sports initiatives. Held at the Bombay Club, the gathering was attended by notable personalities, including Coldplay’s frontman, Chris Martin.
Chris Martin, a close friend of the Tendulkar family, took the opportunity to congratulate Sachin on the success of the foundation. Dressed in an all-black outfit with white sneakers, he expressed admiration for STF’s efforts to make a real difference in the lives of children, particularly through education and sports.
The celebration also marked a significant milestone for the Tendulkar family as Sara Tendulkar officially stepped into her role as the Director of the foundation. She shared heartfelt reflections on how her family’s influence shaped her understanding of giving back to society.
