The weekend trip turned deadly for Brittany, who was swimming in the Florida river. As per reports, a 12-foot alligator attacked Brittany in the water and clenched its jaw onto her as she was just three feet deep in the water. Now, in a statement, the victim’s boyfriend has reflected on her death, calling it a ‘nightmare’.

However, little did Brittany Clark know that her routine entertainment activity would end up claiming her life. The incident happened during a hike, when the trio decided to stop for a swim in the Econlockhatchee River in Florida. They were enjoying the cold water on the summer day when an alligator suddenly attacked Clark, claiming her life, despite Chance’s best attempt to save her.
