Anshula Kapoor is going through one of the best phases of her life as she is preparing to get married to her fiancé, Rohan Thakkar. Reports suggest that the duo will get married in a grand celebration. For those unaware, Rohan had proposed to Anshula in 2025 during their trip to New York City. Now as Anshula’s wedding grabs all the attention, here’s a look back at when she said that she was a ‘burden’ to her family.
Anshula Kapoor thought that she was a ‘burden’ to her family
Unlike most star kids, Anshula Kapoor’s life has been far from easy. The Traitors star had often opened up about her mental health and childhood trauma. In fact, she even thought of herself as nothing more than a ‘burden’ to others. During an interview, when Anshula was asked how her parents reacted to her mental health challenges, she revealed that everyone has tried to help her the best they could. While she spoke with Arjun Kapoor after she became an adult, during her childhood days, Anshula claimed that she exclusively spoke with her parents. She said:
“I spoke to Mom pretty much not in these words, as I feel like I’m a burden to you or I’m a burden to the relationship you and Dad had. I think she figured it out without me putting them in these words because I was maybe 8 or 9.”
