The story of Gatta Kusthi follows a couple totally opposite in nature, ‘Veera’ (played by Vishnu Vishal) and ‘Keerthi’ (played by Aishwarya Lekshmi). While ‘Keerthi’ is a female wrestler, ‘Veera’ is naive and is a bit misogynistic. Like his uncle, ‘Veera’ also thinks that a woman must stay at home and look after the household. Both ‘Keerthi’ and ‘Veera’ are complete opposites when it comes to education as well. While ‘Keerthi’ is highly educated, ‘Veera’ is barely educated, having only completed the eighth grade.
