Anshula Kapoor, the beloved daughter of late superstar, Sridevi and renowned film producer, Boney Kapoor, is all set to get married to the love of her life, Rohan Thakkar. Today, on June 4, 2026, Anshula’s pre-wedding festivities kicked off with a mehendi ceremony. It was Anshula’s half-sisters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, who planned the mehendi ceremony. However, it was Anshula’s patola-inspired bridal lehenga that stole the spotlight.
Anshula Kapoor honours her in-laws with her patola-inspired bridal outfit
A while back, Anshula Kapoor shared a wholesome video featuring herself on her Instagram handle. In the video, Anshula was seen flaunting her mehendi outfit. For the mehendi ceremony, she chose to wear Arpita Mehta’s couture. The teal blue lehenga by designer, Arpita Mehta is inspired by the rich legacy of Patola. The outfit incorporated both Patola style and mirror work, and the two crafts are deeply rooted in Gujarat’s textile heritage. Along with the adorable clip, Anshula penned a heartfelt note. She wrote:
“For my mehendi, I wanted my outfit to honour the family I was stepping into. This incredible teal blue lehenga by @arpitamehtaofficial is inspired by the rich legacy of Patola, while beautifully incorporating her signature mirror work – bringing together two crafts that are so deeply intertwined with Gujarat’s textile heritage. What makes it even more special? This is @arpita_mehta’s very first Patola-inspired bridal lehenga. And while the outfit stole my heart, the day stole my breath!”
