In a recent interview, the singer left everyone surprised as he expressed his dislike for AR Rahman’s work in the 2008 film, Yuvvraaj without mincing his words.
Sonu Nigam admits AR Rahman’s songs in Yuvvraaj were bad
Sonu Nigam has often mentioned how he admires AR Rahman’s detached personality and collaborated with music maestro on popular songs like Satrangi Re, Tanha Tanha, Saathiya, Do Kadam, and more. But, despite their successful songs together, the singer reacted honestly to one of their work together. In a new interview with O2 India, the singer admitted that their song, Shano Shano from Yuvvraaj, wasn’t good. In his words:
“That song is pretty average. It wasn’t such a good song. Let’s not talk about it. I won’t be able to lie. I won’t be able to praise a bad song.”
