On the first day inside the house, the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai actress called out contestants, including Sunita Ahuja and Akanksha Chamola. She stated that Akanksha was in the show just because of her estranged husband and actor, Gaurav Khanna. Speaking to co-contestants, Shreya Kalra and Madhuri Jain, Shilpa said:
“Main usko bola woh Gaurav ke vajah se aayi hain. Maine kaha usko kabhi dekha tha.”
