Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are expecting the arrival of their firstborn this year. The couple announced their pregnancy in November last year, almost two years after their marriage. Athiya recently took to social media to share a couple of photos flaunting her cute baby bump. She also radiated a pregnancy glow.
For her outfit, she chose a black full-sleeved blouse with a white skirt. The actress accessorised her look with long golden earrings and kept her hair tied in a neat ponytail. She cradled her baby bump as she posed graciously for the camera. She did not write a caption for her post but left several emojis. Her actor-father Suniel Shetty commented on the post with a heart emoji and an evil-eye emoji. Her other industry friends and colleagues left adorable comments for her including Bhumi Pednekar, Ileana D’souza and Huma Qureshi among others.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul reportedly met in 2019 through a mutual friend, and they made their relationship official on social media in 2021. In 2023, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their friends and family members. They announced their pregnancy in November last year.
