But when Rajesh Khanna married Dimple Kapadia in 1973, it broke the hearts of his female fans. Rajesh was 16 years older than Dimple, and she considered herself the luckiest woman to get married to him. Together, they welcomed two daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinkle Khanna. Despite being madly in love, Dimple and Rajesh’s marriage couldn’t stand the test of time, and they parted ways in 1982.
