
UFC veteran, Tim Means, better known as Dirty Bird among his fans, is once again in the headlines. But this time it is not about his new fight or controversial statements. Instead, he is facing legal trouble for allegedly hitting his 17-year-old daughter. The violent incident took place in Mexico, which led to his arrest. Later, the court documents revealed a detailed insight into what led to the physical violence. Although Tim has been released from prison, he has to face a court hearing in May 2026.
What did Tim Means do?
According to the court filings obtained by the Albuquerque Journal and New York Post, Tim Means had a conflict with his 17-year-old daughter at their home in Tijeras, New Mexico. Although the incident began with a verbal argument over household chores, it soon escalated into violence. Police documents state that Tim headbutted his daughter on her nose, which led to immediate bleeding. He also pinned her against the kitchen counter and grabbed her neck in a “strangulating manner”.
