Salman Khan rarely opens up about his personal life, but on the podcast of his nephew, Arhaan Khan titled, Dumb Biryani, he shared how he only sleeps for less than 2 hours. The actor had no shame in opening up about his life in jail when he was sentenced to prison for five years for the Blackbuck poaching case. He revealed how prison life was different from real life and shared how he used to sleep in prison and, in reality, sleeps for only 2 hours.
Salman Khan shares the real reason for sleeping for less than 2 hours
Salman in Arhaan’s podcast titled, Dumb Biryani told what life in prison looked like for him. Salman shared that he used to only sleep in the prison as he had nothing else to do. He did catch up on a lot of sleep and emphasised that he had nothing to do in the prison. He meant that his family and friends were not there, and he did not have any work commitments. He found the time to nap as, in reality, he does not get the time for the same. Talking about his real-life sleep schedule, Salman said:
“I generally sleep for a couple of hours, and once a month, I get 7–8 hours a day. Sometimes, I sleep when I get a few minutes’ break between shoots. I can only sleep when I don’t have anything else to do. So, I slept nicely when I was in jail. I sleep when there is turbulence in an aircraft because there is nothing I can do in such a situation.”
