Rajiv Thakur defends Kapil Sharma against arrogance claims
Actor-comedian, Rajiv Thakur, who also shares the stage with Kapil on his show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, recently had a hearty chat with Siddharth Kannan. Talking about his experience working with Kapil Sharma, Rajiv actively defended the comedian against the allegations of him being arrogant. He highlighted Kapil’s ability to flawlessly memorize lengthy scripts, deliver engaging performances, and juggle multiple responsibilities, including hosting guests and collaborating with the creative team. Rajiv shared:
“He is under a lot of pressure, and people don’t understand that. Who can memorise a 2 to 2.5-hour-long script? He has never fumbled, not even once. He adds a punch to every entry he makes. Besides performing, he has to welcome guests, make them feel comfortable, and sit with the channel’s creative team to work on the show.”
