Famous British singer, Ed Sheeran was in Bengaluru to surprise his fans with an impromptu performance. However, he tasted the rowdiness of Indian police when his performance was halted mid-way by an angry policeman. It was an awkward situation for the singer as he wasn’t given permission to sing on the streets.

Ed Sheeran was stopped by an angry policeman in Bengaluru

Ed Sheeran was performing live on Church Street, Bengaluru, on February 9, 2025, when a policeman on duty asked him to stop. In the viral video, Ed began his performance with his famous song, Shape Of You, with a lot of enthusiasm, and the crowd started gathering. But within a few minutes, an officer on duty was seen unplugging the microphone while the singer was still performing.
