Speaking about Bollywood’s iconic trio—Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan—Junaid acknowledged their decades-long dominance in the industry, attributing their success to their “fantastic work.” He also expressed admiration for actors across generations, including Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan, and Rani Mukerji, for excelling both on screen and stage.
Reflecting on his craft, Junaid admitted he doesn’t assess his film performances as he believes a film’s impact depends more on the director and technical aspects. However, he feels stage performances can be evaluated better, given their live nature and audience interaction.
On the work front, Junaid will next star in a rom-com with Khushi Kapoor, directed by Advait Chandan, set for release in February 2025. Additionally, he has an untitled project under Aamir Khan Productions, directed by Sunil Pandey.
