The billionaire businessman is one of the richest man in Dubai with a whopping net worth of USD 12.1 billion. Born on October 10, 1984, Durov hails from Beningard, Soviet Union and holds both French and Emirati citizenship.
Durov comes from a family, who boasts rich academic and military history. He studied English and translation at the Petersburg State University between 2002 and 2006. It was during his time at the university when Pavel found his love for technology. His father Valery Durov is a Doctor of Philological Sciences and the author of academic papers. His mother, Albina Durov, who has Ukrainian roots, taught at Saint Petersburg State University.
