Hailed as the ‘lady superstar’, Nayanthara made it to the headlines as she openly bashed Dhanush through an open letter for suing her for Rs. 10 crore as she used a 3 second BTS clip from the actor’s movie in her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale.
Dhanush wins court battle against Nayanthara
Amid this ongoing legal tassel, Netflix petitioned the Madras High Court to dismiss Dhanush’s copyright lawsuit against the actress. Well, it’s Dhanush who won the same. Reportedly, the Madras High Court dismissed Netflix’s plea to take out the copyright lawsuit that Dhanush had against Nayanthara. For the unversed, Nayanthara used a clip of the movie, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which Dhanush produced. Dhanush has sued Nayanthara and the makers of her documentary for using the clip without his permission. Reportedly, Dhanush warned Nayanthara and Vignesh about the clip and asked them and the makers to remove the clip within the limited time frame that he had given them, and mentioned that he would move to the court if they wouldn’t comply with the same.
